Welcome to Y.J. Dance
Purpose
Y.J. Dance is a humble nonprofit program/studio founded in 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. The studio offers free beginner ballroom dance classes to children whose families cannot afford to attend a regular dance studio. The creation of the studio is derived from a personal belief that young children should be able to explore their potential hobbies without obstacles. The goal is to expose a new generation to the art and the wide range of ballroom dancing. This website serves to expand the impact of ballroom dancing through the journey of the creator, Ylliah Jin, and provide an in depth understanding of the ballroom world. Under the 'Hot Topics' tab, explore the connections of ballroom to many other fields such as economy and politics.

Ballroom Dancing during COVID-19
Without a doubt, this pandemic has caused a vast amount of damage to businesses. Right now, ballroom dancing studios, especially, are struggling to keep their doors open to teach this unique art. It's a great time to start donating to help them overcome this period. Ballroom studios who are in need of assistance are absolutely welcome to use the contact page to have their funding page shown on this website.
